ORIGIN OF THE GRAPE
Vineyards located the lower part of the Najerilla River, wrapped to the north by the Sierra de Cantabria and to the south by the Sierra de la Demanda.
Stony soils of alluvium deposited by the Najerilla river, before its mouth in the Ebro River and vineyard of low yields of which they are wines that have moderate tannins, great aromatic complexity and very silky texture. Vines of Tempranillo native of Rioja and average age over 30 years.
WINEMAKING
Harvest: Manual.
Winemaking: Manual selection on table and fermentation of concrete tanks.
Cellaring: 14 months in American oak barrels and at least 7 months in bottle.
TASTING SHEET
Intense ruby with garnet tones and high layer. Long tear in glass.
Intense aromas spicy and ripe fruit, appreciating very subtly the wood.
Elegant and tasty, with a very balanced tannin and nuances of ripe fruit very well integrated with the wood. Good structure and long in the mouth.
Pairing: Meats and roasts. Fish roasted. Spoon plates.
